講師紹介

獨協大学講師 専門／Theater Arts
Samuel Nfor holds a PhD in applied linguistics from The Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany.
Prior to moving to Japan to study Noh, kyogen, and nihon-buyo on a scholarship from Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs, he practiced protest theatre and appeared in stage and television performances as an actor in his native Cameroon.
He has also performed on stage in Tokyo and taught English in Japan at various levels, employing many techniques from theatre. His research interests include Drama in Education (DiE), popular theatre, linguistic mediation, and intercultural communicative competence.
概要
We will study elementary level English conversation in an interesting and fun way. Each class centers on a familiar topic and focus will be vocabulary and conversation strategies. You will practice language learned in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You will speak with a partner, in small groups and with the teacher.
