TEACHING DAYS:
Tuesday 1st - 3rd periods (9:00 - 15:15), Friday 2nd & 3rd periods (10:55 - 15:15)
CLASSES taught:
(1) English I & II (1st year Integrated English, obligatory), (2) English III & IV (2nd year Integrated English, obligatory), (3) Advanced English (3rd year, obligatory)
CLASS HOURS:
Total = 100 minutes x 5 komas x 14 weeks / semester. 合計100分×週5コマ×14週／学期．

QUALIFICATIONS (all obligatory):
(1) Master's degree in TESOL/TEFL or in relevant fields 英語教育もしくは関連分野で修士号を取得していること, (2) Teaching experience at university level (preferably) in Japan 国内の大学相当教育機関において教育歴を有することが望ましい, (3) A person who can and is willing to teach in English comprehensible to students 学生が理解できる英語で熱意を持って授業を行えること, (4) A person with a working knowledge of the Japanese language 業務に関わる日本語の基本的な運用能力を有すること．
DATE of employment:
1st of April, 2026 - 31st of March, 2027 (renewable by mutual agreement 以後相互了解により更新可能)

The documents must include the following (in this order):
- Title page (title, name, date), list of contents. 表紙（表題，氏名，日付），目次
- Cover letter in English explaining the applicant's policy in ELT. 英語教育に対する理念を記した英文カバーレター
- Curriculum Vitae. 履歴書 (Indicate the courses the applicant has taught 既担当授業名を付記すること)
- List of academic publications, indicating (5) below. 業績表（提出業績に印を付けること）．
- 2 selective publications (real or photocopied) from the list: academic books or articles published in academic journals together with the title page and contents; MA dissertations are not counted. 学術的な著書もしくは論文の写し2点（表紙・目次を含めること．修士論文は対象外）．
Note: CV (3) and list of publications (4) must follow the university's format. 履歴書 (3) 及び業績表 (4) は大学指定の様式（本ページよりダウンロード可）を用いること.

NOTES:
- Include in the CV an email address AND a telephone number that the applicant can be reached at on Wednesday, 7th of January, 2026, in the evening. 2026年1月7日（水）夕刻以降に連絡可能な電子メールアドレスと電話番号を履歴書に付記すること.
- Only short-listed candidates will be contacted; they will be interviewed in person on Sunday 11th of January (including a short teaching demonstration in English). 書類審査の結果は通過者のみに対して行う．該当者には1月11日（日）に対面による面接審査（短い授業実演あり）を行う．
- Transportation fee for the offline interview will not be reimbursed. 対面面接のための交通費は支給しない.
- Academic publications submitted by surface mail can be returned on request together with post-stamped and self-addressed envelope enclosed on submission. 業績の写しは原則として返却しないが，書籍等陸送提出物の返却を希望する場合は切手を貼付した返信用封筒を提出時に同封すること.
- Applicants who are expected to be engaged for other departments at Dokkyo University in the target academic year are not eligible for the present position. 獨協大学の他学科にて勤務する予定のある者は本件に応募できない.
