授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	This course aims to help students with advanced English language proficiency develop both practical and conceptual understandings of autoethnography. Autoethnography is a research methodology that seeks to understand social phenomena (e.g., job hunting, social media use, and fan practices (oshikatsu)) through critical reflection on the researcher’s own lived experiences. While engaging with autoethnographic journal articles, students are invited to transform their perspectives on the self and on the social and cultural contexts in which they are situated. Most importantly, students are given opportunities to present their autoethnography using artistic expressions such as photography, painting, music and poetry.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	アクティブ・ラーニングの手法に基づき、学習者中心の授業を行います。リーディング、ライティング、ディスカッション、パフォーマンスなど、こなさなければならない課題は多いですが、（世界で通用する）高度な学力・英語力を身に着けるための「通過点」として本講義をご利用いただければ幸いです。毎週約４時間の事前・事後学修が必要です。本講義は、原則、英語を教授言語としますが、講義内容を補足するため、適宜日本語も使用します。教材・資料は全て英語です。
