授業の目的・内容
/Course Objectives
This course builds on the skills developed in Communication Skills for Academic Purposes I and focuses on strengthening students’ spoken English through presentations and discussion. Students will learn how to plan and deliver clear presentations, engage an audience, and lead academic discussions while taking an active role in their own learning and supporting their classmates.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意
/Teaching method and Attention the course
Classes are conducted in an interactive, student-centered format. Students develop presentation skills through guided practice, peer interaction, and feedback from the instructor. Each student is expected to prepare and deliver at least one presentation and to participate actively as both a presenter and an audience member.
Regular attendance, preparation, and constructive participation are essential.

事前・事後学修の内容
/Before After Study
Before class, students prepare presentation materials, conduct research, and practice speaking tasks as assigned.
After class, students review feedback, reflect on their performance, and revise presentation content or delivery as needed. Ongoing preparation and self-reflection are important for improving presentation and discussion skills.

Students are expected to spend approximately 90–120 minutes per week previewing and reviewing course content.
