/Course Objectives
Overall objectives:
1. Students will express their ideas in English.
2. Students will use content-based materials to aquire English proficiency.
3. Students will be able to communicate about specifiic academic topics confidently.
4.  Students will develop collaboration skills through group dissusions and projects.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意
/Teaching method and Attention the course
This class will be held face-to-face in the classroom on campus. It will build on the communication skills developed in the first semester, with additional emphasis on developing presentation skills and building students’ confidence in expressing their ideas on a variety of topics.

Students will participate in pair work, group discussions, and presentation activities designed to strengthen their speaking and communication abilities. Feedback on presentations will be provided using a clear evaluation rubric as well as active engagement in class participation will also be used as part of the course assessment.

Students are required to bring their textbook and laptop to every class, as they will be used for course activities, presentation preparation, and accessing learning materials.

Please note the schedule is subject to change to meet the needs of the students as well as possible COIL class with foreign universities. The students will be notified of the new schedule in advance.

/Before After Study
Students are expected to spend approximately 60 minutes outside of class for preparation and review each week. This includes about 30 minutes before class preparing by reviewing the assigned materials, reading the relevant sections of the textbook, and preparing ideas for discussions or speaking activities. Students should also spend about 30 minutes after class reviewing the lesson content, reflecting on feedback received during class activities, and preparing or improving their presentations.
