授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	▼国際環境経済学科３年生のクラス指定科目です。 ▼日本や世界で起きている事象や問題を、社会科学の切り口で英語を使って調査し考察する、プロジェクトベースの英語科目です。この科目では、 基本的なデータ・図表の説明、ミニリサーチ、ディスカッション、発表、報告書作成などを通して、研究テーマについての理解と知識を深めるとともに、英語でのリサーチスキルも伸ばします。１～２年次の英語科目で身につけた、リーディング・リスニング・ライティング・スピーキングの力を授業活動ですべて統合して使いますので、さらに高いレベルの実践的な英語アカデミックスキルを習得することができます。 ▼秋学期は、春学期に習得した英語での図表の説明のしかたをさらに発展させます。また、グループごとに国際的な社会問題に関するテーマを選び、文献研究をもとに問題点を整理し、その問題点についてアンケートによる意識調査を行います。研究計画のポスター発表をし、調査報告論文を作成します。 ▼この授業で学ぶ内容は、専門分野研究やゼミ・卒業論文作成、留学、将来の仕事での調査・言語活動に役立ちます。
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	▼原則として対面授業です。 ▼授業活動は主に英語で行います。 ▼資料配布、連絡、学習活動などにmanabaを活用します。 ▼Googleアカウントを使います。 ▼グループメンバーとプロジェクトを完成させるため、協調性が求められます。 ▼課題や学習タスクへの教員フィードバック形式：授業中の解説やmanaba上でのコメント
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	▼毎回の授業後、教科書・補助教材の指定箇所の学習と、グループプロジェクトの調査・発表準備などの課題を行います(60-90分）。 ▼前回授業で課された宿題・課題の完了を前提に次回授業が進められます。 ▼欠席の場合はグループメンバーに連絡を取って下さい。

評価方法 ／Evaluation	授業参加度 20% 小テスト 20% グループプロジェクト課題 (研究計画ポスター発表と研究報告論文) 60% 【重要】原則として４回以上欠席した学生は成績評価の対象となりませんので注意してください。

備考 ／Notes	1. 教科書は大学書店DUOでは販売していません。教科書には紙版と電子版がありますが、紙版は出版社が増刷していないため、新品を入手することは難しい状況です。電子版、紙版（新品・中古品）はAmazonなどから各自入手してください。 2. manabaに参考文献情報、補助教材が提示されます。
