授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	▽　Academic Reading Strategies IabとIIab を履修した学生が、3年次に履修する、全カリ英語の重要なリーディング上位科目（選択）です。 ▽　対象：外国語学部（独・仏）、法学部（法律・総政・国関法）で、TOEICスコアがおおむね500点以上の学生を対象とします。 ▽　選択科目です。春学期のみ、または通年での履修となります。 ▽　様々なリーディングストラテジーを訓練し、専攻分野の学びや社会人としての知的活動に不可欠なアカデミックな文章を、効果的かつ批判的に読む力をつけ、さらに、それらの文章を参考にしながら、自分でも書けるようにすることを目的とします。使用言語は英語。 ▽　指定図書は “Writing to Communicate 3” です。良い文章を読み、英語の文章の構成を学び、自分でも書いてみる、という一連の活動を通して、良い読み手・書き手を目指すものです。1，2年次とは一味違う授業内容となります
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	▼授業活動例：モデルパラグラフの内容と構造の分析、アウトライン作成、表現/文法練習、オンラインディスカッション、個人/グループライティング、ピアフィードバック。 ▼課題にはスケジュール通りに取り組み、クラスメートと活発にフィードバ ックや意見を交換することが求められます。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	事前にテキストで指定された箇所を読み、課題に取り組む。事後には、修正箇所を見直すこと。事前・事後学習には、それぞれ30分以上は費やし、理解の促進を図ること。
