授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	ドイツ語・フランス語・経済・経営・国際環境経済・法律・国際関係法・総合政策学科の学生を対象とする、半期完結の選択科目。春学期と秋学期の内容が同一のため、履修は半期１回のみ。 大学や仕事での様々な場面、特に公の場（プレゼンテーション、ディスカッションなど）で英語が使えるよう、発音について基本的な規則・技能を学び、教室内・外での練習を通してだれにでも理解されやすい、明瞭でなめらかな発音を身につけることを目指す。
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	主に次の項目を、リスニングとスピーキングスキルを統合したコミュニカティブな授業活動と、シャドーイングや図書館発話ブースでの教室外練習などの自律的学習を通して身につける。 ・母音・子音の発音 ・強勢、イントネーション、リズム ・音の短縮・脱落・同化・結合 ・発音記号と辞書の使い方 ・日本語と英語の発音の違い 学生には、授業内外で自発的に自らの発音に意識を向け、改善に取り組む姿勢が求められる。 ▼授業計画の詳細は各担当教員から配布される個別シラバスを参照。 ▼課題やテストのフィードバックは口頭および書面で行う。詳しい時期や方法については、各担当教員から配布される個別のシラバスを参照。 ▼教材配布・連絡はmanabaで行う。 ▼授業は基本的に対面で行う。 ▼初回授業の情報はPorTa IIを確認すること。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	教科書の予習・復習およびスピーチの練習など、授業時間外に週60分程度の事前・事後学修を行う。テキストの該当ページを毎授業後に復習し、専門用語や発音ルールの理解を確認し、わからないことは次回質問すること。各週の課題は担当教員の指示に従うこと。

評価方法 ／Evaluation	授業参加 30%、課題 10%、中間発表 10%、期末発表 20%、期末試験 30% 原則として4回以上欠席して授業活動に参加しなかった学生は成績評価対象とならない。
