□Content This course is about exploring different cultures from around the world. The aim is to improve cultural competence, enabling students to communicate and work effectively across diverse cultural contexts. □Reading & Discussion ・read and evaluate texts in social sciences and humanities ・express one’s opinions about the course topic in a discussion constructively □Writing & Presentations ・write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (700-1000 words + bibliography) ・make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English.  |

This course assumes an interactive approach, which requires engaged participation from all members of the class. Also, students must write a research paper that weighs heavily for the final grade. Therefore, all writing courses (I-IV) must be satisfactorily completed before taking this course. Needless to say, regular and punctual attendance is expected and mandatory. #The schedule is subject to change on the needs of the class  |
