授業の目的・内容                         /Course Objectives  | 
                      This course focusses on improving students' reading and writing skills specifically with regard to vocabulary, grammar and developing active reading strategies to allow students to engage with a text. The course will continue to build on the reading and writing skills developed in the spring, focusing on the basics of essay structure, while introducing students to a broader range of text types in both reading and writing. | ||||||||||

                      We will continue to build vocabulary while focussing on more complex grammatical structures and practise writing other essay types. Students will write two essays during the semester. Students will submit a first draft and a final copy of each essay. Students will be given written and/or verbal feedback for both draft copies and final copies of their essays. | ||||||||||
