授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	□Content This course is about exploring different cultures from around the world. The aim is to improve cultural competence, enabling students to communicate and work effectively across diverse cultural contexts. □Reading & Discussion ・read and evaluate texts in social sciences and humanities ・express one’s opinions about the course topic in a discussion constructively □Writing & Presentations ・write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (600-900 words + bibliography) ・make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	・read a text well and find additional sources to support your understanding. ・be ready to discuss subjects with your classmates for better interpretation. ・consider very carefully what topic to do research on for your final paper.
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Read  assigned readings and complete all assignments before beginning of the following class. Students are also expected to work on the research paper throughout the term.
