授業の目的・内容
/Course Objectives
Building on the academic skills learnt in Year 1 and 2, students will apply their critical thinking skills to evaluate the reliability of sources in different academic tasks.  Students will learn how to respond to content in an original way and become confident in expressing their ideas.  They will also develop their ability to learn collaboratively.  Students will summarize, discuss, and respond to content through tasks including oral or written summaries and critical evaluations.  
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意
/Teaching method and Attention the course
The course will be conducted face-to-face and the language of instruction is mainly English.  

Active participation is crucial in this course. Students are required to fully prepare for each lesson and join group or in-pair discussions, using words and expressions listed in the textbook.  
事前・事後学修の内容
/Before After Study
Before each class: Students are expected to read the materials, learn useful words and expressions for discussion, and complete reading exercises in the textbook.  

After each class: Students are expected to review the content and do a written assignment.
