/Teaching method and Attention the course
This course is taught entirely in ENGLISH!

Ther first 6 lectures (from Sept 28 to Nov 2) will be on-lline, as I will be staying in the US. Each lecture will basically be delivered as a video clip. Live streaming by Zoom may occasionally be used. In either case, no need to come to the classroom for these first 6 lectures. Reaction paper and other communication will be exchanged via Manaba. The rest of the course should be face to face in the classroom.

The class activities will include reading poem texts in the original Japanese along with the English translation, discussion, and workshops.

A brief "reaction paper" should be written after each class. At the end of the semester, a longer "report" should be written summarizing the essential elements of this course.
事前・事後学修の内容
