授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意
/Teaching method and Attention the course
This course will continue students' writing progress and will guide students in writing longer essays and developing useful writing techniques. Students will have lots of practice writing four types of essays (compare, process, persuasive, cause/effect). For each essay, students will peer review their classmates' essays and revise their work. Afterwards, students will evaluate the revised essays and grade their classmates' work, promoting independent and collaborative writing and learning. The teacher will give feedback in class and for the midterm/final essays. Students will also practice key writing techniques and skills for each essay. More autonomy and extensive practice, as well as independent and collaborative tasks, help students become better writers.

This course will be taught face to face on campus. All the relevant materials and handouts will be provided during the course.

There are no special applications required.
