授業の目的・内容
/Course Objectives
Overall Objectives
1. To provide an overview of what constitutes a ‘good’ paragraph
2. To learn how to properly format a typed paragraph
3. To help students write about themselves and their experiences
4. To help students write clear, coherent and properly-structured paragraphs
5. To help students analyze and revise their writing
6. To help students become familiar with computer literacy and the use of Microsoft Word or
Googledocs to create well-formatted documents.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意
/Teaching method and Attention the course
One unit of your textbook will be studied in two or three weeks. The first part of each class will be used for reading and analysis of the text material. This will be followed by reviewing and checking the homework assignments together. For the remainder of the class students will be given an in-class exercise to complete. Note that the teaching method, text material covered, and assessment style may change due to the demands of the ongoing health situation. Updated and more detailed information will be provided in the first class.
