授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	２０世紀アメリカ詩を概観し、時代的・文化的コンテキストのなかで詩人の特質を理解する。 授業はテキストの流れに沿ってレポーター形式で行い、質疑応答を交えながら進める。 この科目は、外国語学研究科博士前期課程の学位授与方針（DP）ならびに教育課程の編成・実施方針（CP）が示す「実践的な言語運用能力と国際社会の多様性を理解する態度」と「文学分野において、適切な問題設定を行い、必要な先行研究の成果やデータ収集・分析ができる能力」、とりわけ英米文学研究分野におけるこれらの能力を高めることを目的とする。
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	授業は演習形式で行います。現時点では、通常の対面授業を予定していますが、新型コロナウイルスの感染状況によってはZOOMによる遠隔授業になる可能性もあります。履修者は事前に担当者までご連絡ください。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	授業前にプリゼンの資料を読み、疑問点を整理しておくこと。発表後は、作品解釈をまとめファイルしておくこと。
