授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	▼ドイツ語学科・フランス語学科・経済学部・法学部1～4年生を対象とする全カリ英語部門の選択科目です。 ▼目安としてTOEIC450点以上の学生が対象です。 ▼将来、英語で授業を開講している英語圏または非英語圏の大学への留学を考えている学生、TOEIC以外の国際的な英語検定試験に関心がある学生、より高度なアカデミック英語を学びたい学生に適した科目です。 ▼TOEFL iBTは、主に英語圏の大学での学生生活に必要な英語を理解する能力と、リスニング、リーディング、スピーキング、ライティングスキルを統合してアカデミックな課題を英語で遂行する能力を評価する試験です。授業では、TOEFL iBT テストの各パートで求められる英語力と基本のtest-taking strategiesを理解し、テスト問題の実践練習を繰返し行うことで、総合的に高度な英語スキルを伸ばします。 ▼テスト問題練習に加え、授業履修後も継続的にTOEFL受験に向けた自主学習ができるよう、様々な学習方法を紹介します。
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	▼ 授業形式・方法：対面授業を基本とします。オンライン配信は予定していませんが、ウィルス感染状況によっては、大学の方針に沿って変更する場合があります。 ▼授業の使用言語：英語を基本とします。必要に応じて日本語を使う場合があります。 ▼授業活動例：設問内容と構造の分析、ディスカッション、個人/グループライティング、表現/文法練習 ▼My DOCを使って、授業に関する連絡、宿題・課題提出、資料配布、ディスカッションなどを行います。 ▼課題にはスケジュール通りに取り組み、クラスメートと活発にフィードバ ックや意見を交換することが求められます。 ▼課題や学習タスクへの教員フィードバック形式：授業中の解説やMyDOC上でのコメント ▼Academic Writing I: Paragraph、またはAcademic Writing II: Essayの既修または同時履修が望ましいです。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	▼毎回の授業後、次の授業までの教科書・補助教材の指定箇所の学習と課題提出を行います（約１時間）。事前・事後学習の内容をもとに次の授業が進められます。 ▼毎回の授業内容、宿題、課題の情報は、MyDOCに掲載されますので、欠席した場合も必ず確認し準備した上で次の授業に参加してください。
