授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	□Content Alternative Global Issues In this course, students will examine issues connected to alternative media including topics on the environment and international conflicts. □Reading & Discussion ・read and evaluate texts in social sciences and humanities ・express one’s opinions about the course topic in a discussion constructively □Writing & Presentations ・write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (700-1,000 words + bibliography) ・make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	A combination of an interactive lecture and active learning including group work, group discussions, and oral presentations.
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Read textbook units or other assigned readings and complete all assignments before beginning of the following class. Students are also expected to work on the research paper throughout the term.
