授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	FOR THE FALL SEMESTER, THIS CLASS WILL BE TAUGHT ON-DEMAND. DETAILS GIVEN BELOW. Beat the Monday morning blues by studying in this dynamic class. All students, who are prepared to try hard, are most welcome. Interesting topics will be covered in the lessons, there will be a lot of fun, and plenty of opportunities to speak and discuss a variety of issues in English. You do not need a textbook in the class because materials will be given to you. At the end of the course if you have studied hard, you will have increased your English speaking, listening and vocabulary abilities a great deal. All students who want to improve their English Skills are welcome. Because of the coronavirus and the teacher's underlying health condition, this class will be conducted on demand. Every Monday, there will be a class video for you to watch and handouts will be uploaded. Be sure to watch the class video as early as possible every Monday and do exactly as instructed. Be sure to meet all the deadlines. Good luck.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	This lesson will give the students maximum time to express themselves. Because of the continuing coronavirus pandemic, the teacher’s age and underlying health concerns, this class will now be conducted through handouts and assignments set online through manaba. Unfortunately, the university will not allow Zoom classes on a weekday, thus there will be no face-to-face contact possible with the teacher. Due to the nature of the study in this class, there are many opportunities for the students to discuss many issues with other class members. It is hoped that you will be able to find someone also attending the class and do lots of discussion with them through FaceTime, WhatsApp, Line or such like. Good luck with your studies. DON’T WORRY. YOU WILL NOT BE OVERLOADED WITH ASSIGNMENTS IN THIS CLASS. Every week, you will need to check manaba for the lesson handouts and the stuff you need to do.
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Students need to prepare for lessons, do homework and review lessons. At the start of every Monday, a video lesson will be posted on Manaba. The videos will be about 20 to 30 minutes long. Set aside time each Monday to watch the class videos and to get through the study material, which will be provided in the class handout.
