授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives |
本授業は学科基礎科目として、語彙を増やし、文法と論理展開を把握した上で英文を「精確に読む」ための読解力を養成します。交流文化学科のディプロマ・ポリシーに掲げられる「英語に関して、受容と産出に関する高度な技能を用いて、状況に応じた言語運用を行うための能力」の涵養に対応しています。 |

授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course |
履修者は、プリントまたはmanabaを通じて毎回授業ごとに配布するテキストを予習し、テキストに関わる問題の解答を準備することが求められます。早く読むことよりも細部まできちんと理解して納得する読解力の強化を図るため、原則として300字程度の短いテキストになります。授業内においては、予習した問題についてグループ・ディスカッションを行い、授業後にmanabaの「レポート」に課題の解答を提出することが求められます。課題へのフィードバック、テキストの解説は毎回の授業内に行います。また、授業で聞けなかった質問に対する回答や指導は、manabaの「個人指導」やWebmailを利用します。 | ||||||||||

事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study |
授業前にはテキストを予習し、単語を調べて和訳を考えておくこと。授業後は、グループ・ディスカッションの結果を反映して課題の解答を提出すること。この他に、交流文化学科がカリキュラムの一環として採用している課外学習用のオンライン学習プログラムがあります。全体で毎週最低1時間程度の授業外学習時間を確保して下さい。 | ||||||||||

評価方法 ／Evaluation |
授業参加度と課題への取り組みを数値化した平常点（75%）を基本とし、オンライン学習プログラム（25%）を加えた総合評価とします。平常点の合計を100とした場合、欠席等によりその3分2を下回ると単位認定が難しくなります。 | ||||||||||
