/Teaching method and Attention the course
This class will be conducted face-to-face at the university unless the university instructs us to go online. In this semester we will begin with a review of academic writing and  short tasks on the basics. We will cover the first four chapters of the textbook and you will submit an outline for each chapter's essay assignment. You will write a first draft for four writing assignments and revise them before submitting as a portfolio.  Classes will begin with revision activities from the previous week and questions. We will then look at the tasks assigned from the previous week and complete them in class. I will also supplement the textbook with short lectures. Make-up assignments will be posted every week after class for those absent with a valid reason.
Students will use Manaba to download tasks and upload essay assignments and make-ups.
事前・事後学修の内容
/Before After Study
Spend one hour reviewing the class and preparing tasks for the next class given by the instructor.
Complete all essay writing assignments. Writing is a process so students must submit essay first drafts, revise according to feedback and submit as a porfolio by the deadline.
Students will use Manaba to download tasks and upload essay assignments and make-ups.
