授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	This one-semester course is compulsory for first-year students. Overall Objectives 1．To increase their vocabulary 2．To review grammar 3．To develop basic reading skills & strategies 4．To understand how various texts are organized This course focuses on improving students’ "vocabulary," "grammar" and "reading" skills, as stated in DP, 2. Overall objectives are for them to acquire the basics of "written receptive skills," as stated in the CP.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	春学期に続き、読み方のコツを勉強します。並行して、英語の読み物を読みます。 新型コロナウイルスの感染状況を見ながらですが、対面のみの授業を予定しています。
