授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	1990年代以降の生成文法理論の論文を批判検討する。この科目は、外国語学研究科博士後期課程の学位授与方針（DP)ならびに教育課程の編成・実施方針（CP)が示す「すぐれて高度な言語運用能力と研究を通して国際社会に貢献しようとする態度」、「先行研究を批判的に分析した上で独創的な問題設定をし、学術的に高度な論文を作成する能力」および「研究成果を広く公に発表し学術的な議論を通してさらに自らの研究の視野を広げていく能力」、とりわけ日英語の比較統語研究においてこれらの能力を高めることを目的とする。
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	ビデオオンデマンドで講義を行う。別途zoomによるリアルタイム質疑応答のセッションを設ける。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	テキストに収録されている論文(1)-(8)を精読して、分析の問題点について検討する。

評価方法 ／Evaluation	論文(1)-(8)の中から各学期１つ選択して、critical reviewを提出してもらう。評価は授業でのレポーター(30%)およびcritical review(70%)による。
