授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	▼ドイツ語学科・フランス語学科・経済学部・法学部1～4年生を対象とする全カリ英語部門の選択科目です。 ▼将来、英語圏大学への留学を考えている学生、TOEIC以外の国際的な英語検定試験に関心がある学生、より高度なアカデミック英語を学びたい学生に適した科目です。 ▼TOEFL iBTは、英語圏の大学での学生生活に必要な英語を理解する能力と、リスニング、リーディング、スピーキング、ライティングスキルを統合してアカデミックな課題を英語で遂行する能力を評価する試験です。授業では、TOEFL iBT テストの各パートで求められる英語力と基本のtest-taking strategiesを理解し、テスト問題の実践練習を繰返して行います。 ▼テスト問題練習に加え、授業履修後も継続的にTOEFL受験に向けた自主学習ができるよう、様々な学習方法を紹介します。
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	▼目安としてTOEIC450点以上の学生が対象です。 ▼授業活動例：設問内容と構造の分析、ディスカッション、個人/グループライティング、表現/文法練習 ▼Academic Writing I: Paragraph、またはAcademic Writing II: Essayの既修または同時履修が望ましい。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	▼毎回の授業後、次の授業までの教科書・補助教材の指定箇所の学習と課題提出を行います。
