授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	The purpose of this course is to improve your oral communication skills through group discussions, pair work, and individual presentations. Activities will be based on the contents of your textbook and are intended to help you gain insights into a variety of global issues. For this purpose, you’ll be given numerous opportunities to express yourself, present your ideas, tell stories and ask and answer questions during this course. Our goal is to make every class as interactive and lively as possible. By the end of this course, you will be able to: • Give opinions about the textbook topics • Present your ideas effectively • Ask and answer questions in complete, natural sentences • Tell stories and share your own experiences
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Please note: all classes will taught via Zoom. Students will be expected to actively participate in group work and pair work, and to ask and answer questions in class.
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Students will be expected to complete homework, to independently study vocabulary and to prepare for exams outside of class time.  Students must also prepare for in-class communication evaluations.
