授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	・Academic Listening Strategies Iとともに、1年生の英語科目の中核となる重要な科目である。原則として通年で履修すること。 ・ドイツ語、フランス語、経済、経営、国際環境経済、法律、国際関係法、総合政策の各学科１年生のうち、入学時にTOEICで高得点であった学生が受講する科目である。使用言語は英語。様々なリーディングストラテジーを訓練し、専攻分野の学びや社会人としての知的活動に不可欠な、アカデミックな文章を効果的かつ批判的に読む力をつけることを目的とする。 【重要】大学生らしい英語の読み方を学び、グループワークやディスカッションを織り交ぜた活動を、英語で行います。

評価方法 ／Evaluation	積極的な授業参加20%, 課題30%, テスト 50%, 原則として4回以上欠席した学生は成績評価対象とならない。
