授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	□Content Students learn key academic skills as they engage with watching videos and reading about American history and culture as well as listening to talks and expressing their opinions. □Reading & Discussion ・Read and listen to the materials in the textbook. ・Express one’s opinions about the course topic constructively. □Writing & Presentations ・Write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (700-1,000 words + bibliography). ・Make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	A combination of an interactive lecture and active learning
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Read and watch the materials in the textbook and complete all assignments before beginning of the following class. Students are also expected to work on the research paper throughout the term.
