授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	□Content Students learn key academic skills as they engage with thought-provoking lectures, discussions, and conversations about future-oriented themes.   □Reading/Listening & Discussion ・read and listen to the materials on  some themes in the textbook ・express one’s opinions about the course topics constructively □Writing & Presentations ・write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (600-900 words + bibliography) ・make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	A combination of lectures, listening to conversations and active learning through Online Workbook. The class schedule is subject to change according to the situation of the pandemic.
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Read and listen to assigned materials in the textbook and complete all assignments before beginning of the following class. Students are also expected to work on the research paper throughout the term.
