授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	1. To help students understand the typical structure of a ‘good’ essay 2. To help students understand (genre-specific) patterns of essay organization 3. To help students plan essays 4. To help students use a variety of references and utilize Internet sources 5. To help students revise and edit their essays 6. To help students develop computer literacy skills 7. To help students become more familiar with referencing and creating a bibliography (MLA or APA styles)
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	This will depend on the COVID 19 situation and will be the same as for Writing Skills III. If the classes are face-to-face: 1. Students attend in person and upload assignments on Manaba according to the deadlines posted. Late submissions for assignments are possible for students with good reasons. 2. Students complete an on-demand assignment covering the material used in the face-to-face class. This will be posted on Manaba and a submission date will be posted. If all university classes are online, I will use a combination of Zoom and on-demand classes.※
