授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	Students continue to practice writing unified, coherent paragraphs, which are the basic units of composition common to academic, business, professional, and general-purpose writing in English. Developing fluency and well-structured paragraphs is the main focus of this course However, students in Group C should also practice writing for accuracy at the same time. Overall Objectives 1. To teach the various patterns of paragraph /short essay organization 2. To help students learn how others organize ideas through peer review 3. To help students write clear, focused, and well organized paragraphs 4. To help students analyze their problems and revise their writing 5. To help students become familiar with computer literacy
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	6. To help students become familiar with computer literacy and the use of Microsoft Word or Googledocs to create well-formatted documents. ・前期同様、Academic Writing についての基礎・重要事項をテキスト、及び配布資料を用いて学び、その知識を用いて文章作成をします。 ・本授業は、原則として英語で行いますが、講義内容を補足するため適宜日本語も使用します。教材・資料は全て英語です。 ・毎週、事前・事後学習が必要です。 ・毎回の授業についての詳細、課題等については、授業の二日前までにmanabaに情報を掲示しますので、毎回確認してください。 ・学生は、Chapter 終了ごとに１パラグラフ構成の文章を提出します。 　（提出の遅れは病欠以外は受け付けませんので、必ず期日までに提出して下さい。 ・さらに各Chapter 終了までに、学生は、テキスト付随のオンラインリソース・クイズ(My English Lab)に答えます。 　My English Labの登録手順と利用方法など、詳細については初回の授業時に示します。） ・受講生が提出する全ての課題において、受講生間のピア・アセスメントまたは教員によるフィードバックが行われます。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	事前学習：テキストの学習範囲、配布資料を予習しておく。 事後学習：各Chapter の終了までに、該当Chapterのオンラインリソースクイズに答える。 　　　　　重要な学習事項については、適宜manabaにquizを掲載しますので、答えて下さい。 　　　　　授業で学んだことを基に適宜文章作成を行ない、レポートとしてmanaba経由で提出する。
