授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	This one-semester course is compulsory for first-year students. Overall Objectives 1．To increase their vocabulary 2．To review grammar 3．To develop basic reading skills & strategies 4．To understand how various texts are organized
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	授業は対面で行う予定であるが、感染状況によって変更になる場合もある。感染対策をしたうえで、可能なかぎりのグループワークも取り入れるので、積極的な授業貢献を期待する。また授業の一部は英語で行う。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	教材は事前に授業あるいは、オンラインで配布するので、必ず事前学習を行うこと。授業内に理解できなかったことは、事後学習で解決すること課題提出には場合によってmanabaを利用することもある。利用法については授業内で解説する。
