授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	本授業では、Melvyn P. Leffler and Odd Arne Westad (eds.), The Cambridge History of the Cold War, I-III (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2010)をテキストとし、第二次世界大戦後の冷戦を多面的に考察していく。 冷戦の終焉から4半世紀が経過し、関係各国で冷戦期の外交資料の解禁が進むにつれ、かつては米ソの二大国関係の分析が中心であった冷戦の実相が、様々な観点から議論されるようになっている。 上記テキストは、世界の著名な冷戦史家による最新の研究を統合したものであり、受講生とともに、冷戦の起源（第1巻）、危機とデタント（第2巻）、終焉（第3巻）の各局面について、主要な論文を講読し、批判的な考察を行う。
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	授業では、受講者による課題文献に関するプレゼンテーションに続き、担当教員からのコメント、全体討論を行う。
