授業の目的・内容
/Course Objectives
A Skill for Global Human Resources: English Presentation

The purpose of this course is to provide students with a skill of giving a presentation in English, which is urgently sought after in many international businesses today. Presentation is a way of giving information to a group of people, usually in a formal way. Therefore, there are some certain techniques to be employed. To learn to make it more effective, persuasive and impressive, another four projects will be assigned in the fall semester. Two of them will be done by individuals and the other two by groups. Through these projects with a variety of topics, strategies will be learned for improving fluency, accuracy and effectiveness in speaking and giving a presentation.

授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意
/Teaching method and Attention the course
遠隔授業はZoomで行います。お知らせとペーパー等の提出は PorTa II で行います。
2) Strategies for writing will be taught in a step-by-step manner through projects.
3) Presentation skills will be taught in a step-by-step manner through projects.
4) Skills for using a PC and applications will be taught to the whole class and individually.
5) Topics for projects will be decided by individuals or groups within the given themes.
6) Comments and advice will be given after each presentation individually to encourage further improvement
事前・事後学修の内容
/Before After Study
1)Preparation:Read sample presentations, learn vocabulary and expressions, and prepare your own topic to talk about.
2)Review:Look at your own performance on a recorded video. Self-evaluate and see where/why you went wrong.
