授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	ドイツ語・フランス語・経済・経営・国際環境経済・法律・国際関係法・総合政策学科の2年次学生対象のクラス指定科目である。1年修了時のTOEICスコアが高かった学生が学部学科を超えて共に学ぶ。リーディングを中心にアカデミックな総合的英語運用能力を身につけることを目的とする。各自の専門分野にも活かせる学術的テーマや社会問題を扱ったテキストを用い、多読や精読を通してさまざまなリーディングストラテジーを習得する。さらに、テキストの内容を批判的に理解し、それに対する自分の考えを口頭および文章で表現する練習を行う。
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	・授業は英語で行う。 ・原則として通年で履修すること。 ・授業はすべてオンラインで行う。 ・授業内容の提示、資料配布、課題提出は「MyDOC」 を主に利用する。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	授業前は教科書の予習を行っておくこと。授業後は教科書の復習と課題を行うこと。

評価方法 ／Evaluation	課題 65%、Presentation 20%、「5-Minute Quizzes for the TOEIC(R) Test: Reading 1」 15% ※その日の課題の提出をもって、その日の授業に出席したとみなす。原則として 4 回以上欠席した学生は成績評価対象とはならない。
