授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	□Content Alternative Global Issues In this course, students will examine issues connected to alternative media including topics on the pharmaceutical industry and health matters. □Reading & Discussion ・read and evaluate texts in social sciences and humanities ・express one’s opinions about the course topic in a discussion constructively □Writing & Presentations ・write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (600-900 words + bibliography) ・make a visually aided presentation of the paper Class is taught and participated in English.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	We will use Zoom and Google Docs, mainly via Type 3 below, and some of Type 1 and Type 2: Type 1: distribute and collect (using documents in Porta II and web mail) Type 2: on-demand (using outside resources in the Internet) Type 3: real-time (using video conferencing tools in addition) Please make sure you have a device to access our online classes, and Powerpoint for the final presentations.
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Read textbook units or other assigned readings and complete all assignments before beginning of the following class. Students are also expected to work on the research paper throughout the term.
