授業の目的・内容
/Course Objectives
□Content
This course will consider the importance of expertise through a close reading of Tom Nichols’s The Death of Expertise. Subjects of discussion will incorporate how these issues relate to current and recent global and local issues.

□Reading & Discussion
・read and evaluate texts in social sciences and humanities
・express one’s opinions about the course topic in a discussion constructively

□Writing & Presentations
・write a research paper on the course topic with appropriate citation (600-900 words + bibliography)
・make a visually aided presentation of the paper

Class is taught and participated in English.
