授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	This is a course designed for students who seek to advance their English communication skills.  Students will be involved in active discussions each class, and will need to prepare for them in advance.  Please note the following:   1) This course will mainly be conducted via Zoom 2)  You will need to have an understanding of Zoom 3)  Students will be able to communicate with me via Zoom or email 4)  Students will be evaluated  on their class performance and preparations      as indicated below.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Classroom time will be utilized by having extended discussions based on student topics introduced at the start of each class. This class will call on students to take an active role in the development of the class discussions, and to contribute to their utmost.
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Students need to prepare for class discussions by researching the topic and by gaining a full understanding of it in advance of class.  They will also need to formulate their opinions and shape them for presentation.
