授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	The aims of this course are to promote critical thinking and to have extensive discussion about a variety of interesting and important contemporary issues. Students will learn the skills necessary for effective Group Discussions. The typical class will consist of small group discussions on a unit from the textbook to build vocabulary. Students will be required to study vocabulary regularly and will be exposed to authentic listening exercises in each unit. An eagerness to speak English and take responsibility for their own learning would be a bonus.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Students must submit all Assignments and Final Reports in printed form. No handwritten reports will be accepted, so all students must ensure they have access to computers and printers.other additional online materials will also be used. Please not that because of current circumstances, the Syllabus is subject to changes.
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Read and listen to the conversation for each unit before class.  After class, please study the vocabulary section for that unit. Lets enjoy this course together!
