授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	his class will be conducted online using Zoom as our main tool for interacting.  Students are required to be on Zoom during regular class time.  For those students with certain issues or needs, please consult with the instructor. Students in this course will develop critical thinking skills as well as continue to expand their listening and speaking abilities.  The course will be learner-centered in nature, and activities will be centered on the topics presented in the textbook.  Discussion This course will be in English and “Learner-centered” in nature.  Students will be expected to work in pairs and groups to complete tasks, and active participation in discussions will be essential.  Students should come to class willing to participate and work with others to make this class a success.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Please note the following: 1)  This course will mainly be  conducted via Zoom 2)  You will need to be able to access Zoom, and to understand how to use Zoom 3)  I will have mini lectures, and discussions, and ask that student participate actively in the discussions.      We will have active debates during our class time.   4)  Grades are based on quizzes, debate performance, & improvement.
