授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	The purpose of this course is to help students improve their English language skills of reading. Through extensive reading, students are expected not only to increase English vocabulary and to grasp simply the meaning of the text, but also to read aloud, to predict the context before reading, and to recognise patterns in paragraphs and of text orgnisation.
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Basically, this course is conducted in English but explained in Japanese where necessary. In order to learn correct, natural and real English, the students are strongly recommended to use an English-English dictionary. Note: This course syllabus might be changed if needed after starting.
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	Students are expected to come to class fully (or at least adequately) prepared.

評価方法 ／Evaluation	Final grade will be based on the following: 50% ordinary assignments each class; and 50% mid-term and final assignments.
