授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	The goal in the Writing Skills IV course is to develop students’ writing and critical thinking abilities in English, progressing from production of shorter to longer academic texts, and from writing on familiar topics to writing about more complex and academic ones. Students should be encouraged to use and integrate authentic text to reflect, react, write, and revise. Overall Objectives 1. To help students understand the typical structure of a ‘good’ essay 2. To help students understand (genre-specific) patterns of essay organization 3. To help students plan essays 4. To help students use a variety of references and utilize Internet sources 5. To help students revise and edit their essays 6. To help students develop computer literacy skills
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, this course will be taught on demand. You MUST have a Gmail account for this class. You MUST use your Gmail account to join our Google Classroom learning environment. ALL assignments will be posted and submitted using Google Classroom.
