授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	外国語の音声の習得には、対象言語の持つ特徴を理解することが欠かせない。本講義では、個別音の特徴はもとより、言語音の持つリズムやピッチなどの特徴をどのように録音、観察し分析するのかといった手法を概観する。かつてフィールドワークで用いられた音素材の採取の工夫や解釈には、アナログではあるが音声の理解に様々な示唆を含む。こうした歴史をふまえて昨今のデジタル技術で得られる情報をも用い、後半は採取した録音素材の数値化など、実験音声学の基礎となる知識や技法を学習する。
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	春学期は録音手法の歴史、および採取した言語音の解釈に不可欠な音声学の基礎知識を学習する。学期末には、実際に録音した素材をもとに、発音やリスニング教材の研究資料ともなり得る音素材を作成する。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	次回授業でカバーする語彙や専門用語の意味を調べておく・授業後は配布資料を基に内容の確認
