授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	This one-term required class allows second-year students the opportunity to take the　initiative and be directly involved in their own learning, as well as the learning of their　classmates, by preparing their own presentation and leading subsequent class discussion　based on the chosen topic. Overall Objectives 1. To foster student responsibility by involving students more directly in the learning　process 2. To teach students how to prepare presentations 3. To give all students the opportunity to give a presentation and lead class discussion

事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	When reading material is assigned in advance, students should read it before class.  If an assignment such as preparing a discussion topic is given, students are expected to do it.
