授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	This one-semester course is compulsory for second-year students. Overall Objectives 1. To increase academic vocabulary 2. To automatize more accurate grammatical knowledge and recognize cohesive devices 3. To develop a better understanding of various styles and purposes of reading material 4. To develop effective reading skills (intensive reading, extensive reading, etc.) 5. To read some outside readers which they can read without using a dictionary
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	ZOOMを利用しながら、リアルタイムで授業を進める予定。上記の授業目的・内容を定着させるために、英文を読んだ後にグループワークを行い、与えられたトピックについてメンバー同士が意見交換を行うというアクティブラーニングの形式をとる。
事前・事後学修の内容 ／Before After Study	授業前に各トピックに関する英文を読み、単語や熟語の下調べをしておくこと。授業後は、学んだ単語や熟語を例文と一緒に覚えると同時に、英文の内容に対する意見を言えるように理解を深めながら復習すること。
