授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	This one-semester course is compulsory for first-year students. Overall Objectives 1．To increase their vocabulary 2．To review grammar 3．To develop basic reading skills & strategies 4．To understand how various texts are organized
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Reading Strategies II (Honors) is an advanced level reading course designed to help students develop effective skills and practices for improving their reading comprehension and vocabulary. Classes will be conducted real-time via Zoom. Course materials (readings, homework assignments, the final essay exam) will be distributed through the classroom management platform Edmodo.

評価方法 ／Evaluation	Evaluations will be based on participation in in-class activities and discussions (10%), the completion of in-class and homework assignments (45%), and achievement on a final essay exam (45%).
