授業の目的・内容 ／Course Objectives	This one-semester course is compulsory for first-year students. Overall Objectives 1．To increase their vocabulary 2．To review grammar 3．To develop basic reading skills & strategies 4．To understand how various texts are organized
授業の形式・方法と履修上の注意 ／Teaching method and Attention the course	Group work and pair work will be used often in this class. You are expected to collaborate with others and actively participate in class tasks. This class will be conducted in ENGLISH ONLY. I will be using Manaba as a main means of communication and offer real-time sessions in Zoom.
