授業の目的・内容
/Course Objectives
This one term, semi-elective course aims to further develop and build on language skills covered in Comprehensive English I/II and Reading Strategies I/II.  The prerequisites for the Communication Skills class are Comprehensive English I/II and Reading Strategies I/II or a TOEIC score of 600 or above.

Overall Objectives
1.Giving students maximum opportunity to practice and develop their communication skills.
2.To improve reading comprehension via critical analysis of texts.
3.To foster student responsibility by involving students more directly in the learning process.
4.To foster the presentation of one`s own ideas.

/Before After Study
Students are expected to spend 90 minutes each to preview and review course content and I recommend that they read English newspaper articles and watch BBC or CNN news programs.
