　After graduating with a B. Com. from Tribhuvan University, I worked as a high school teacher in Nepal for several years. I came to Japan in 2004, received a B.A. and an M.A. in English Communication and began teaching at the university level since 2013.

概要

　The course is for CEFR level A2-B1 and course aims to develop overall language skills in general, with emphasis on intercultural communication, and its various functions in a global society. Class activities integrate the basic conversation skills necessary for everyday conversations. Participants are expected to actively engage in class activities in pairs or small groups and share their opinions about the various topics/issues discussed. This course provides opportunity to: ①become a more active listener and speaker ②develop questioning skills and the process of inquiry ③think critically while listening, reading, writing, and participating in discussions. The course also offers opportunities to discuss the ways in which culture interrelates with and affects the communication processes.
