獨協大学 国際教養学部 英語科目非常勤講師公募のお知らせ（水曜日分）
CLASSES to be taught weekly:
Spring semester: (1) English I (1st year Writing), (2) English II (1st year Speaking for repeaters)
Autumn semester: (1) English II (1st year Writing), (2) English I (1st year Writing for repeaters)
Total = 100 minutes x 2 komas / semester. 合計100分×週2コマ

TEACHING DAYS:
Spring semester: Wednesday 2nd & 4th period (10:55 - 12:35, 15:30 - 17:10)
Autumn semester: Wednesday 2nd & 3rd period (10:55 - 12:35, 13:35 - 15:15)
QUALIFICATIONS (all obligatory):
- Master's degree in TESOL/TEFL or in relevant fields.
英語教育もしくは関連分野で修士号を取得していること。 - Teaching experience at university level (preferably) in Japan.
国内の大学相当教育機関において教育歴を有することが望ましい。 - A person who can and is willing to teach in English comprehensible to students.
学生が理解できる英語で熱意を持って授業を行えること。
- A person with a working knowledge of the Japanese language.
業務に関わる日本語の運用能力を有すること。
DATE of employment:
1st of April, 2023 - 31st of March, 2024 (renewable by mutual agreement 以後相互了解により更新可能)
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS:
All application documents should be submitted by postal mail or delivery service. すべての応募書類は郵便もしくは宅配便で提出すること。
They must include the following:
- Cover letter in English explaining the applicant's policy in ELT.
英語教育に対する理念を記した英文カバーレター - Curriculum Vitae. 履歴書 (Indicate the courses the applicant has taught 既担当授業名を付記すること)
- List of publications. 業績表
- Enclose 2 selective publications (real or photocopied) from the list: academic books or articles published in academic journals together with the title page and contents; MA dissertations are not counted. 学術的な著書もしくは論文の写しを表紙・目次と共に2点添付すること。修士論文は対象外。
- Digital application will not be accepted. 電子メールでの応募は受理しない。
- Include in the CV an email address AND a telephone number that the applicant can be reached at on Wednesday, 30th of November, in the evening. 11月30日（水）夕刻以降に連絡可能な電子メールアドレスと電話番号を 履歴書に付記すること。
- Only short-listed candidates will be contacted; they will be interviewed (including short demonstration of evaluating student writing in English) on Saturday, 3rd of December. 書類審査の結果は通過者のみに対して行う。該当者には12月3日（土）に面接審査（学生による作文の評価実演あり）を行う。
- Transportation fee will not be reimbursed. 交通費は支給しない。
- Academic publications submitted can be returned on request together with post-stamped and self-addressed envelope. 業績の写しは原則として返却しないが，希望する場合は切手を貼付した返信用封筒を同封すること。
- Applicants working for (or will be working for) other departments at Dokkyo University are not eligible for the present position. 獨協大学の他学科にて勤務する者およびその予定のある者は本件に応募できない。
