Study the society and culture of German-speaking countries in the largest-scale environment in Japan

Germany is the political and financial center of the EU. Today, as the EU expands toward the east, there is an increasing demand for personnel who excel at the German language and are familiar with the state of the society and culture in German-speaking countries. In the German language course of our school, we have developed diverse lessons and seminars on German-speaking countries in order to cultivate learners who understand German-speaking countries from the standpoints of both communication and culture. Under our 25 full-time staff (5 of whom are foreign instructors) and 30 part-time staff (12 of whom are foreign instructors) – the largest German language course staff in the country – you can acquire strong language ability as well as specialized knowledge and logical thinking skills.

Successful German Language Education

Learn German in our in-depth classes with small class sizes of about 20 students. In addition to speaking skills, we cultivate comprehensive ability including reading comprehension of specialized literature and communication.

A course system to deepen expertise

In order to cultivate specialists and to promote deeper learning, studies are separated into 3 courses during the third year: Language, Literature and Thought, Arts and Culture, and Modern Society and History.

Opportunity to study in contact with Germany

We offer abundant opportunities to come into contact with German-speaking countries starting with our German experience course. These include summer training at affiliated schools, long-term study abroad programs, and internships in Germany.
